An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Impose an arms embargo on Israel for murdering humanitarian workers

91 so far! Help us get to 100 signers!

The Israeli military's killing of 15 first responders, including 8 medics, 6 civil defense workers, and 1 United Nations employee, is an appalling and egregious violation of international humanitarian law. Targeting medical and humanitarian personnel constitutes a blatant war crime under the Geneva Conventions. This latest atrocity is part of a deeply disturbing pattern of Israel's disregard for international law and human rights in its treatment of Palestinians. The intentional murder of humanitarian workers trying to provide emergency aid and relief to those in need is utterly indefensible and deserving of the strongest condemnation. Israel must be held accountable for these reprehensible actions through concrete measures such as a comprehensive arms embargo and cessation of all foreign aid. It is sickening how money from hardworking American taxpayers is being sent as foreign aid to the pariah state of Israel. www.palestinechronicle.com/another-heinous-war-crime-israeli-army-slaughters-15-first-responders-in-gaza/
