An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures (Texas only)
Stop Violating Our Children’s Constitutional Rights

Enough is enough. Forcing the Ten Commandments into every public school classroom is not only unconstitutional, it is a blatant attack on the freedoms guaranteed to all Texans under the First Amendment. You know this. Every lawmaker in this state knows this. And yet, the Texas legislature continues to trample on the Constitution and gamble with our children’s rights.
This is not about faith—it’s about power. Mandating religious doctrine in schools is government overreach at its worst, and it strips students and families of their fundamental right to choose their own beliefs. Every child, regardless of religion, deserves to learn in an environment free from coercion. Instead, Ken Paxton and those supporting this policy are dragging Texas backwards, weaponizing religion, and directly violating the rights of millions of people.
There are already lawsuits underway, and taxpayers will be the ones footing the bill when the courts strike this down—as they inevitably will. This reckless behavior is a disgrace, and it shows utter contempt for the rule of law. Paxton’s obsession with forcing religion into schools isn’t just unconstitutional, it’s dangerous.
If you truly care about Texas families, stop this crusade. Stand up for the Constitution you swore an oath to uphold. Stop wasting taxpayer dollars defending the indefensible. And stop turning our classrooms into battlegrounds for political theater.
The people of Texas deserve lawmakers who protect their freedoms—not ones who trample them.
