Israel Will Initiate WWIII Unless We Stop Them: ARMS EMBARGO NOW

I urge you to take immediate action to end all U.S. military aid and sales to Israel and support Senator Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval. It is unconscionable that the U.S. continues to provide Israel with billions in military assistance while critical domestic needs, such as disaster relief, remain severely underfunded. Recent reports indicate that the U.S. will grant Israel $8.7 billion in military aid. This massive funding supports Israel’s military efforts in direct violation of international human rights standards. The continuous flow of U.S. weapons fuels further violence and destruction in Gaza, perpetuating the genocide of Palestinians. It is time for this administration to re-examine its priorities and end its complicity in these war crimes. Using other countries and groups’ military attacks as an excuse to avoid holding Israel accountable for directly escalating is unacceptable, especially due to the fact that Israel is actively avoiding and sabotaging any reasonable ceasefire/hostage deals. Israel is the primary aggressor here, given that the illegal occupation and land seizure in the Palestinian Territories was ongoing for decades before 10/7/23. Meanwhile, as Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc across the U.S., our government failed to adequately fund FEMA to respond to the devastation. According to Politico, FEMA is facing a $10 billion shortfall, leaving communities without sufficient resources to recover from this catastrophic storm. The disparity between the billions allocated for foreign military use and the lack of domestic disaster relief is glaring and unacceptable. Our country’s spending priorities show a complete disregard for the welfare of both our citizens and innocent civilians abroad. We cannot continue to pour billions into foreign military conflicts while neglecting the urgent needs of our people at home. I demand that you support the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block further U.S. arms sales to Israel. It is long past time to prioritize human lives—both here and abroad—over defense industry profits. The U.S. must lead with peace, not with weapons. As your constituent, I will not support any elected official who continues to enable the suffering of Palestinians through military aid to Israel, who is fueling escalation, and who refuses to follow laws regarding military aid to entities committing war crimes and risking World War III.
