Do not support the AI legislation moratorium! AI is developing too quickly and has too many potential problems to support a “hands-off” policy. States can act much more rapidly than Congress in case of problems and abuses. Indiana is home to nationally prominent major AI developers and expertise in both industry and academia. The state government can draw on those resources to produce “right-size” regulations that benefit Indiana citizens and businesses without infringing rights or opportunities. I urge you to oppose the pending legislation.
