Ignoring the traditional dress code by wearing a bright blue suit showed a shocking lack of decorum at one of the most solemn Catholic events in recent history. While leaders like Prime Minister Starmer, Prince William, and others dressed appropriately in black to honor the Pope, Trump stood out like a sore thumb. His attire was a jarring violation of protocol that demonstrated, yet again, his inability to act with the dignity and respect fitting of a former U.S. president at a major international event. This self-centered conduct undermined the solemnity of the occasion and disgraced America's standing. Such insensitive actions from Trump are sadly par for the course, but no less appalling each time they occur on the global stage. America deserves better representation reflecting its values of decency and honor.
