Israel bombed the last working hospital in northern Gaza for the second time!

Over the weekend, the Israeli army bombed the Anglican-run al-Ahli Arab Hospital, also known as the Baptist Hospital! This is the second time that this hospital has been savagely bombed, again with no evidence of any hamas members housed there. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, two airstrikes targeted the hospital’s only reception building, the radiology department, the hospital pharmacy, the laboratories, and even a church inside the hospital, which had been converted into an additional reception area for the wounded. Many already wounded were unable to evacuate due to their injuries. Children! Our government must act! I demand that you take immediate action to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Here’s why this matters: 1.⁠ ⁠Over 60,000 Palestinians have been killed, including over 20,000 children. The UN confirms Israel’s attacks threaten viability of Palestinians as a group. 2.⁠ ⁠Israel is blocking all food and aid while bombing starving civilians—this is ethnic cleansing and a WAR CRIME. 3.⁠ ⁠The U.S. must stop sending weapons. Spain and other nations are already backing an arms embargo—why is the US standing in support of genocide? 4.⁠ ⁠The majority of Americans have negative views of Israel’s conduct. You are elected to represent Americans, not a foreign nation. I demand: •⁠ ⁠An immediate, permanent ceasefire. •⁠ ⁠Sanctions and an arms embargo on Israel. *Support future JRDs to block weapons sales to Israel. •⁠ ⁠Support for Palestinian freedom and release of prisoners like Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.
