Our government's release of Dahud Ortiz, a convicted triple murderer, onto American soil is an egregious failure that jeopardizes public safety. This decision by the Trump administration knowingly allowed a dangerous criminal to walk free, undermining principles of justice and accountability for heinous crimes. We must demand that Congress take immediate action to review policies enabling such reckless releases and enact measures to keep violent offenders incarcerated, protecting the lives of all law-abiding citizens.
