Please Override Monstrous Anti-Trans Executive Orders

I am writing today to urge you to take action to oppose and ideally override President Trump’s monstrous anti-transgender executive orders. I am particularly concerned today about Executive Order 14166 and its requirement to transfer trans women to men’s prisons. I read about the case of Maria Moe, a trans woman in a low-security federal prison with no disturbance, complaints, or disciplinary record. Moe, who transitioned at age 15, has been held in solitary confinement for the past four days and is slated to be transferred to a men’s prison where she risks facing abuse, assault, and rape. I hope you’ll agree with me that this case is horrifying and deserves immediate action by Congress to override this plan. Thank you for your consideration.
