A woman starves. A man freezes. A young adult is murdered. When does it end?

Donald Trump claims economic growth. He claims a resurgence in the economy. He claims gas prices are lower, and that the cost of groceries has declined. He claims he has removed fraudsters from government assistance and has made it available to people who deserve it. He claims to be detaining and deporting the worst of the worst. He claims no American citizens have been erroneously detained or deported. He claims his henchmen are not killing anyone. He claims the United States is in a golden era. This morning, a 65 year old woman called into C-SPAN and spoke to anchor Mimi Geerges. The content of her discussion revolved around her disability and the effect that it has had on her ability to work, drive, or acquire resources. She has lost 28 pounds in the past year because her SNAP benefits were cut down to $24 per month. She is slowly starving to death. She is afraid. She is uncertain. She is the face of America right now. In Buffalo, NY this week, an elderly blind man was erroneously detained by ICE. Upon realizing their mistake, rather than notifying anyone, they dropped him off five miles from home. He froze to death. We also learned this week that ICE assassinated a 22 year old man a YEAR ago. The DOJ did not think this was worth mentioning, so they buried it. These are only three examples of the failures of the Trump administration- and these are only examples that we KNOW of. What else are they hiding? The United States of America has fast fallen from a beacon of hope to a symbol of death- for people, for democracy, for freedom, and for our future. Stop the insanity.
