Trump has nominated Dennis Kirk, a former White House official and one of the authors of Project 2025, to serve as the Interior Department’s inspector general, the independent watchdog responsible for investigating waste, fraud, abuse, and misconduct. Placing a close political ally in charge of the office risks undermining its independence and the credibility of its investigations. It is basically the fox guarding the henhouse. Please do everything possible to reject Kirk’s nomination.
