Protect our parks from job cuts.

Western North Carolina suffered severely from Hurricane Helene. Please don’t compound the suffering by standing by idly as Elon Musk and DOGE under the uncaring eye of President Trump moves to freeze hiring and slash jobs at the already understaffed National Park Service. Western North Carolina will be further grievously harmed if the Great Smokies national park and the Blue Ridge Parkway aren’t sufficiently staffed to support the tourists who bring an economic bounty to our great state. These are our parks and we want to be able to use them to the fullest extent possible. Please push back against the arbitrary nature of the illegal workforce reduction scheme.
