While the administration has downplayed these issues as mere "formatting errors," the substance of the report is compromised if it relies on faulty or non-existent data. The public deserves transparency and accountability when it comes to the processes and tools used in developing policies that impact their lives. Therefore, I urge Congress to launch a thorough investigation into the use of AI in producing government reports and legislation. Safeguards must be put in place to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information used in policymaking.
