Commit to total accountability: expunge Trumpist fascism & project 2025

Accountability for criminal acts of the Trump administration must be immediate, relentless, consistent, and applied to both actual crimes and high crimes and misdemeanors at every level. The constitution is not optional. We did not vote to rescind it. That means that Project 2025, which was an explicit, public and published project to subvert the rule of law and the constitution must be treated as such. Get a copy now and create a list of those who promoted its measures. The imperative for constitutional accountability also requires that Trump be impeached by the house even if there may not be senate votes to convict. We did not vote to abandon the constitution: do not abandon it on our behalf. Do not send a message that upholding it is optional or a matter of convenience. If you are worried about doing more than one thing at once, then simply impeach on the basis of a single incontrovertible charge not a case that requires extensive deliberation. Accountability also needs to be imposed at every level. Every level from the Supreme Court and the Presidency to ICE officers, from cabinet officials who violated the hatch act to Pete Hegseth. Please enact all possible safeguards to prevent a fascist takeover occurring. Address the corruption of Scotus and the illegal abuses of ICE. Address Mike Johnson's do-nothing suspension of Congress. Pass the John Lewis Voting Rights act. Legislate about presidential pardons. Refer for prosecution all rogue ICE agents and January 6-insurrectionists. There is no time to lose. The future of America as a democracy is at stake. Trumpism is a cancer that requires both radical surgery and ongoing therapy: we can see that remixing Trump will not be enough to prevent a recurrence.
