Lying to Congress is a crime. Remove RFK jr

It's time to impeach RFK jr. He has shown himself unfit for his role from day 1. Now there is clear evidence that he lied during his senate confirmation hearings. Specifically he lied about his trip to Samoa in 2019. He told the senate that his trip had nothing to do with vaccines. But letters obtained by the Guardian show the opposite. Per Heather Cox Richardson citing Michelle Williams' Guardian article: "In fact, in a letter to the Samoan prime minister before the trip, Kennedy said explicitly that he wanted to investigate the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine used there. Observers claim that Kennedy’s visit empowered anti-vaccine activists in Samoa. After he left, a measles epidemic killed 83 people." RFK jr also told the senate that he would not change the US vaccine schedule. Now he has done just that. Disease and deaths are resulting from his policies in the US. We have the worst measles epidemic for more than half a century. I'm asking you to take RFK Jr lies seriously. Lying to Congress is a crime; it can be prosecuted. We l know that the standard for impeachment is not the same as a criminal trial; it's not "innocent until proven guilty," it's doing exactly what RFK had been doing: lying to Congress and not carrying out his job as he promised. This issue goes beyond RFK jr and health policy: will Congress allow itself to be lied to and permit senate-confirmed nominees to carry on as if they never had to be be confirmed and answerable to Congress? Will you condone zero accountability? Please: start the hearings. Expose RFK jr's lies and broken promises. Hold him accountable. His policy changes are causing deaths. Remove him from office.
