Co-Sponsor H.R. 3565 — Stop U.S. Support for Israel’s War Crimes
31 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!
I am writing to demand that you immediately co-sponsor H.R. 3565, introduced by Rep. Delia Ramirez. This bill would halt U.S. weapons transfers to Israel — a government carrying out an unrelenting, illegal, and openly genocidal assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank.
For Senators, you must introduce matching legislation now.
This is not a “conflict.” It is a military campaign of mass slaughter, starvation, displacement, and systematic destruction. International law is not being skirted — it is being shattered in broad daylight. Hospitals, schools, aid workers, and civilian convoys have been bombed. Children are being killed at a staggering pace. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble. Israel’s highest officials, including members of the war cabinet, have made clear their intent to carry out these crimes. They are not hiding it. They are boasting about it.
The United States is not merely complicit. The United States is actively supporting these war crimes and crimes against humanity with billions in weapons, intelligence, and diplomatic cover. This violates domestic law, including the Foreign Assistance Act and the Leahy Law, and makes a mockery of the international legal system we claim to uphold.
To make matters worse, the U.S. has now vetoed a fifth United Nations Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire. This is shameful. Blocking international demands for an end to mass killing is indefensible. Every member of Congress who fails to publicly denounce these vetoes — and the slaughter they enable — is aligning themselves with war crimes and against global efforts for peace, justice, and accountability.
If you fail to co-sponsor H.R. 3565, you are choosing to continue funding and enabling a genocide. Your constituents see this. The world sees this. History will record where each of you stood.
I demand that you act now: Co-sponsor H.R. 3565. Cut off the flow of weapons. Uphold the law. Stop supporting atrocities. The text of the bill can be found here:
