An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Investigate the “Detention Centers”

12 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I’m appalled by reports I am hearing from the detention centers (concentration camps) that ICE is operating. Now I’m hearing that a healthy 41 year old man died within 24 hours of being detained. Why? There have been other suspicious deaths and injuries that need to be investigated. Reports are that the food is meager and sometimes spoiled or wormy. Water may have a strange taste or smell. Medical care is not available or not given on time. Children are not getting adequate care in any way from medical care by pediatricians to a lack of educational services. All of this is horrifying! This must be investigated and people in charge must be held accountable. Exercise your oversight responsibilities and don’t allow funding for more of these awful facilities! If ICE and CBP were following the law these centers would not be needed. Don’t allow people to be hurt and killed in our name!
