AOC, not Connolly

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is running to be the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee but Speaker Emerita Pelosi is elevating Rep Gerry Connolly instead. My support is unequivocally behind AOC. This election showed beyond a doubt that we need new, young blood leading the party, and AOC connects with her voters and the people. AOC has the support of the people, point blank, bar none. I also must point out that AOC is a woman of color. The attempt to elevate a white man over her is extremely telling of Pelosi — and of the representatives that back Pelosi’s move. AOC is the lightning in a bottle that the democratic party needs. If you fail to support her bid, you will alienate your core base and loose the enthusiasm of the people, much like the party failed to capitalize on Bernie Sanders’ run. I’m counting on you to support AOC.
