Republicans, your job is to be a part of checks and balances! Do your job!

The Republican Party I grew up with stood for the Constitution, limited government, and personal responsibility. Today, I see leaders enabling behavior that betrays those core principles. To begin with, I see zero personal responsibility in the party. Draining the swamp? No, you're bringing the scum of the swamp in with open arms. Being okay with pardoning violent January 6th defendants, the firing of Inspectors General, and the abuse of executive power through reckless tariffs and emergency declarations are actions that demand accountability. Yet, your silence—or worse, your support—makes you complicit. Ronald Reagan warned us, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” If you’re not willing to defend our democratic institutions now, when will you? Your job is to uphold the Constitution, not protect any one man’s ego. Your role is literally to be part of the checks and balances—not an enabler. Are you doing your job and still a member of the Grand Old Party? History will remember your choices. Will you be one of the few highlighted for doing what's right? Or will you be a footnote as an enabler? Choose wisely. Voters are paying attention more then ever.
