An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Stop indiscriminate firing of federal employees

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The decision to demand federal employees document their work or face resignation is misguided and will only serve to demoralize a dedicated workforce. A blanket requirement for all federal workers to justify their contributions within an unreasonable timeframe is an overreach that fails to recognize the valuable services provided daily by civil servants. Instead of indiscriminate termination threats, we should be fostering an environment where federal employees are empowered and appreciated for their commitment to public service. I urge you to reconsider this drastic approach and work collaboratively with federal employee unions and leadership to implement reforms that increase efficiency and accountability through more constructive means. Valuing and retaining skilled federal personnel is crucial for an effective, well-functioning government that serves all citizens.
