Protect Your Constituents - Not Billionaires

I am your constituent and I see the Republican budget is moving forward. I want to remind you that cutting Medicaid and taking away health insurance will cause hardships and death in every congressional district including ours EVERY YEAR. I want to remind you that 42 million Americans (12%) need nutrition assistance and to get enough to eat every month, men, women, children, and seniors. That’s 90,000 people in our district. Moreover, 25% of the military relies on food stamps because they make so little money. I don’t know what part of this is acceptable, especially since in addition to the damage I have described, it does it to give billionaires a tax break. FYI it will add over $4 trillion to the deficit. Let me be clear, I want you to vote against this budget and the cuts to Medicaid, Nutrition Assistance, the VA, Medicare, Social Security and Head Start. If you vote to cut those programs I will remember and vote accordingly.
