VOTE NO ON THE MURDER BILL

Trump’s One Big Bullshit Bill is an abomination and, as your constituent, I demand that you vote NO. This bill: • Cuts SNAP, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act marketplace coverages by $1.3 TRILLION. An estimated 16 MILLION Americans will lose health insurance if this passes. An estimate 1.9 million Texans stand to lose their insurance. Millions will lose food assistance, and millions more will have theirs cut. That includes veterans, the homeless, and young people who have just aged out of foster care. Families also will lose access to nursing home care for sick children and elderly parents, as this care is paid for through Medicaid. Your own constituents will suffer and die because of these cuts. • Will increase the number of rural hospital closures, hospitals which are already on the brink, and will exacerbate the already-existing rural hospital crisis by gutting Medicaid, which keeps these hospitals open. Millions of rural Americans, including your constituents, will suffer and die because of these closures. • Cuts the NIH budget by 40 percent, gutting cancer and Alzheimer’s research, as well as in other areas. Your own constituents depend on this critical research to help them battle these catastrophic diseases, and your own constituents will die without this research. • Will increase the deficit by $3.3 TRILLION between 2025-2034. The deficit used to be a big thing which you were so all-fired concerned about. • Gives ICE more than $70 BILLION through FY 2029 to turn this nation into one of concentration camps and roving gangs of masked, armed, and unidentifiable thugs. They will have, by the way, a larger budget than the U.S. Marine Corps. And all this just to give a $1.3 TRILLION tax cut to the wealthy. This is monstrous. You are punishing the sick, the poor, the elderly, the hungry, the homeless, rural Americans, families, veterans, and immigrants just so oligarchs don’t have to pay taxes. There aren’t enough obscene words in the English language to tell you how I feel about this evil bill. So let me just say this. Vote NO on this murderous piece of trash. Protect your constituents rather than the wealthy. Rich folks will be fine, I promise. But if you vote for this travesty, your own constituents will die. Protect them. Stand up for them. Vote No on this thing. DO YOUR DAMNED JOB.
