The SAVE Act needs a decent burial.

The SAVE Act needs the Democrats' most effective communicator on the floor. That person is not Chuck Schumer. Replace him for this fight. If the bill passes, countless citizens will lose their voting rights. We are trying to hold on to hope for democracy out here. This is being TELEVISED. Besides the fact that Schumer is an ineffective and uninspiring public speaker, Schumer himself is not trustworthy. His record is a consistent pattern of saying one thing and doing another. To many of us, he is the proof that this isn't about ideology. It's the machine. Schumer is as much a part of it as John Thune. If you can't make an honorable choice even for your own floor leadership, maybe there is no hope. If the Democratic senators have Schumer up there to defend against the SAVE Act, they are sending a clear message that they don't want to prevent this legislation. We do see what Schumer does- says one thing, promotes another behind back doors. This is too important to get wrong on the messenger. Please use your influence to put more effective and trustworthy voices on this floor fight.
