An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Urgent: Congressional Action Required Regarding Tulsi Gabbard

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I am writing as a deeply alarmed constituent to demand immediate congressional action regarding Tulsi Gabbard’s conduct as Director of National Intelligence. Her actions have repeatedly demonstrated a dangerous disregard for the limits of her office, the separation between intelligence and domestic politics, and the basic norms required to safeguard democratic governance. The Director of National Intelligence is entrusted with overseeing the most sensitive intelligence apparatus in the country — not inserting herself into domestic law enforcement actions, not advancing politically charged narratives about elections, and not operating in ways that erode public trust in neutral intelligence oversight. Yet under Tulsi Gabbard’s leadership, those lines have been blurred to the point of crisis. Reports of the DNI’s involvement in domestic election-related enforcement activities represent an extraordinary and deeply troubling departure from established norms. These actions raise serious questions about abuse of authority, politicization of intelligence, and potential violations of statutory boundaries designed to protect civil liberties and prevent exactly this kind of overreach. This is not a matter of partisan disagreement. It is a matter of fitness for office. When the nation’s top intelligence official behaves in ways that appear reckless, ideological, or legally questionable, Congress has not only the authority — but the obligation — to act. I demand that you to do the following immediately: - Support a full and public congressional investigation into Tulsi Gabbard’s actions as Director of National Intelligence. - Demand her suspension from operational authority pending the outcome of that investigation. - Pursue formal censure or removal proceedings if misconduct or abuse of power is substantiated. - Reassert clear statutory limits on the role of the intelligence community in domestic affairs to prevent future abuses. Accountability is not optional. No official — regardless of title, ideology, or political usefulness — is above the law or beyond scrutiny. Allowing this conduct to go unanswered would set a dangerous precedent and further erode confidence in institutions already under strain. I expect a clear response detailing what steps you will take to address this matter. Silence or deflection will be taken as complicity.
