Every day you permit impoundment, you are signing the birth certificate of tyranny. Trump's illegal orders to block congressionally appropriated funds negate Congress's power of the purse. Musk's illegal firings of federal employees and dismantling of congressionally created agencies annihilates the role and authority of Congress. Every day that you are silent about this you are signing the death certificate of the constitution and the birth certificate of American dictatorship. If the law does not apply to Trump and Musk, why does it apply to anyone else? You are allowing the constitution to go up in flames. You are allowing the laws to be ground into manure. Shout this from the rooftops: This is a coup. Our agencies are being massacred, raped, dismembered alive with a bone saw. Stop this now. No more unanimous consent in the senate. No agreement to a budget that slashes social security, Medicaid and Medicare to pay for tax cuts for the rich. Are you worried about waste and corruption? Then pass a bill to block Trump's multimillion dollar jaunts to the car races, football games and his own resorts and golf courses. I am outraged by the feckless ineffectiveness and betrayal of the rule of law of this Congress.
