An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Support H.R. 3821

13 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

In early June, the Allergen Disclosure in Non-Food Articles Act (ADINA) was reintroduced into the United States House of Representatives. The ADINA Act (H.R. 3821) would require labeling for the top nine food allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, sesame) AND gluten on prescription and over-the-counter medications. Under the current system, patients, doctors, and pharmacists spend hours researching allergens in medications on the phone and online and still get no answers. Labeling requirements would reduce the burden on patients, doctors, and pharmacists, saving time and money by allowing people to choose the generic version of their medications. Please help support the millions of Americans with food allergies and/or Celiac disease by co-sponsoring or promoting the The ADINA Act (H.R. 3821).
