Respect the separation of the branches of government and checks and balances

Today Donald Trump signed an executive order ensuring that all federal agencies are accountable to the American people as required by the constitution. Upon reading it, I disagree with its legality under the constitution because of the following:
1. Separation of Powers: The U.S. Constitution establishes a system of checks and balances among the three branches of government: the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. While the President does have significant authority over the executive I argue that the President should not have direct control over independent agencies, which were designed to operate free from political pressure to ensure impartiality in areas like regulation and enforcement.
2. Independent Agencies: Independent agencies like the FTC, FCC, and SEC were created to function independently from the President to avoid political influence in their decision-making processes. I argue that it undermines the purpose of these agencies and violates the intent of Congress when they established
When this executive order is brought to the floor, I fully expect you to vote no and respect the separation of the different branches of government. The president is not a dictator unless you allow him to be.
