In the spring, Schumer capitulated to Trump and Republicans hell-bent on dismantling the federal government to pay for tax breaks for billionaires and corporations. Now, as Congress considers a new spending bill, Schumer must stand up to Trump and MAGA Republicans in Congress to ensure funding for healthcare, clean water, safe food, and other essential services and programs. We demand that Schumer insist on a ban on rescissions, a maneuver that allows Trump to claw back already-approved funding.
