Keep Billionaires Away From Taxpayer Money

There is a lengthy record of billionaires convincing state and city governments to pay for sports arenas that only profit the billionaire, leaving the local government (and the local taxpayers) high and dry. Billionaires should not be getting subsidized by taxes. Honorable people do not accumulate that level of wealth, and our state should not be so seduced by the glamour of capitalism that we become an easy mark. The sports district was already going to be too big, and now the state legislature has overstepped the city to make it even larger. Say no to the billionaires, and keep their hands out of the state coffers.
