SNAFU is the word for today. No clarity, no clear plan for the next steps, Israel and Iran still exchanging fire, 3 US jets downed by friendly fire (fortunately no casualties in that case). Israel has expanded the war into Lebanon. This was no quick precision strike with a clear outcome.
Trump says this could go on for 4-5 weeks. Meanwhile almost all the news coverage is on the war Trump used that word with no approval from, or consultation with, Congress. He continues to trample on the Constitution with only a few Republican lawmakers speaking up. What will it take to make them grow spines?
The answer may be in the Epstein files, where there may be solid proof that Trump has committed crimes that could turn some of his MAGA base against him. Why else would Pam Bondi break the law by not releasing the rest of the files? When they do come out they will need to be thoroughly checked for signs of sanitation. Don’t get distracted!
