An open letter to the U.S. Congress

No “pledge” for the press!

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Pete Hesgeth has overstepped his role. Requiring the press to sign a pledge to only report what the government deems is reprehensible and completely violates the freedom of press. The people deserve to know what happens in their government, and the press is one key way to hold our officials accountable. Please resist this so-called “pledge” and demand Pete Hesgeth resign. This is an affront to American values and cannot be tolerated.
