And while American service members are being sent into harm’s way, the Commander in Chief, Donald Trump, appears more focused on spending his time on the golf course than explaining to the American people why this war was started in the first place. This is unacceptable. Congress has a constitutional duty to check executive power—especially when American lives are at stake. Your silence in the face of an unauthorized war is not neutrality. It is permission.
