An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Stop Gun Violence in the United States

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

We had two days in July (26th and 27th) without a mass shooting. And then we had four of them on the 28th. As of this writing we are up to 430 mass shootings this year. 26,040 dead, including 177 children. You know what to do, but I'll reiterate it here: ban assault weapons and large magazines, implement universal background checks and red flag laws, and close the Charleston loophole. Those will do for a start. We are the only country with this gun violence problem. We must fix it.
