I am a member of Indivisible CA33/CA37. I urge you to support H.R. 3755, the Women’s Health Protection Act. Abortion care is healthcare, and pregnant people deserve the right to bodily autonomy and liberty. From last week’s oral arguments, it’s clear that The Supreme Court has signaled that they plan to overturn Roe v. Wade.
A large majority of Americans, and 84% of Californians, agree that abortion care is healthcare, and pregnant people deserve the right to bodily autonomy and liberty…You can help safeguard the safety of our country’s women and prove that Democrats make a difference and work for the will of the people if you pass this law.
To do this, and everything else that Democrats have signaled is important, including voter rights, the filibuster must be eliminated.
