Trump’s Tariffs are destroying my IRA - help!

I’m so scared by what Trump‘s tariffs have done to the stock market — all of our retirement savings accounts are dropping like stones. We are in our 50s, like most of our friends, and have worked hard all our lives, saved and invested wisely. Now everyone I talk to is so upset, angry and frightened — will we be able to retire when we planned, or ever? Are we going to be a burden on our children or have to rely on charity? It’s really horrible, and made worse by how unnecessary and useless the tariffs are! (Tariffs on islands with no humans, only penguins? Is this amateur hour?) As my member of Congress, what are you doing to fix this and help your constituents? I look forward to your response.
