An open letter to the Vice President

LET THEM SPEAK - STOP SILENCING PALESTINIAN VOICES AT DNC

976 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

I am absolutely disgusted that the DNC, which your campaign would be able to affect the decisions of, denied Palestinian Americans the right to speak yesterday. To be clear, I'm not writing you in protest of having the families of Israeli hostages speak on stage - but their invitation to speak paired with the refusal to allow any Palestinian to speak makes it beyond clear what your administration will look like if you're elected. Stop silencing Palestinian voices. Let them speak. I wholeheartedly agree with representative Ilhan Omar's statement that, “If we lose Michigan by a hair… it will be hard not to conclude that a reason why is because we did not treat these people with respect they deserve and instead just wished they’d go away and stop complaining.” It should be very clear to you that the movement for Palestinian liberation, and an end to Israel's genocidal war is not a passing "trend" or something that's going to disappear. We've been here protesting in every form we have available, and our numbers have only grown. There's a reason the Uncommitted Movement organically grew to what it looks like today with uncommitted delegates protesting the DNC's actions.
