Protect the 1st Amendment - Reinstate the Associated Press’ Access to the WH!

Blocking Associated Press reporters from the White House — in retaliation for their refusal to adopt President Trump’s attempted renaming of the Gulf of Mexico — is an outrageous attack on the freedom of the press. In its lawsuit, the AP has rightly argued that the president cannot coerce journalists to use “only government-approved language” in reporting. I’m writing to call on you to protect journalism from partisan attacks and immediately reinstate The Associated Press to the White House press pool. Thank you for your time and consideration.
