Abiding with Biden

Dear President Biden, I am writing to thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of us all in defending democracy from those who want to tear down our government from inside. I am sorry to hear that your allies in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere are asking you to step aside. Every day, I’m getting messages from pollsters asking who I want to see IF you step aside, but don’t ask if I WANT to see that happen. I don’t, and hope you stay the course. You have used your extensive experience to help guide our country through the aftermath of the pandemic, build a stronger economy, and work towards sustainable future. While there are things that I wish you would do differently, like advocate more forcefully for Palestine, I believe that you are our best hope for continuing to work towards our democratic ideals at home and abroad. Please tell Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Adam Schiff, and anyone else pressuring you to step aside that you still have my support, and that of many others. Gratefully, Jonathan Kotinek
