Protect the Peace Corps

I’m writing to express my concern and fears about the fate of the Peace Corps based on the recent closure of AmeriCorps. The Peace Corps has numerous benefits, it not only helps various communities in countries around the world, but it also is life changing for the volunteers who serve. Most importantly it is a huge method of soft diplomacy that fosters cross cultural understanding and warmth to help make peace more likely. I urge you to do all you can-through and including impeaching the current administration-in order to protect the Peace Corps and all other endangered programs, departments and federal workers.
