Water safety is critical! As a farmer, teacher and citizen of North Carolina, I worry about forever chemicals (also known as PFAS) in my drinking water, rivers and community. I was excited to learn about the 2025 Water Safety Act, S666, and feel hopeful knowing that ending this pollution is important to others as well. PFAS is connected to health issues including cancer, liver damage, and development effects. Please pass the 2025 Water Safety Act and protect our communities.
