We need a comprehensive, bipartisan solution that addresses the core issues at stake, including healthcare. Healthcare should not be used as a bargaining chip in these negotiations. It is a fundamental right and a critical concern for many Utahns. By compromising with Democrats on healthcare issues, we can not only prevent a shutdown but also work towards improving the health and well-being of all Americans. Time is of the essence. With the potential shutdown looming at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, I implore you to act swiftly. Put aside partisan differences and focus on the needs of your constituents. A government shutdown will harm real people - your voters, your neighbors, your fellow Utahns.
