An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures (Kan. only)

Do Not Restrict Reproductive Freedom in Kansas, Vote No on HB 2135, 2429, 2439

59 so far! Help us get to 100 signers!

Please vote no on HB 2135, HB 2429, HB 2439, HB 2313, or any other bills restricting reproductive freedom. HB 2135 gives tax incentives to donors of unregulated “crisis pregnancy centers,” which use misinformation and intimidation to dissuade people from making their own healthcare decisions. HB 2429 would divert almost $2M of state funding for low-income families to anti-abortion organizations. This horrendous bill gives state funding intended for vulnerable Kansans to organizations whose only purpose is to coerce and misinform with little oversight. HB 2439 forces doctors to provide patients with medically inaccurate information regarding medication abortion “reversal,” potentially causing physical and mental harm to patients. HB 2313 interferes with medical practice in complex and tragic circumstances and stigmatizes reproductive health care. Last August, the majority of Kansas voters defended our right to make decisions about our own families free from government interference. These bills are yet another attempt to subvert the will of the people.
