Vote NO on the Kids Internet and Digital Safety (KIDS) Act / KOSA Omnibus

I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the KIDS Act omnibus (H.R. 7757). While protecting minors online is vital, this sweeping legislation relies on blunt, automated compliance mechanisms that will fundamentally break the educational and creative internet. By penalizing platforms that "should have known" a minor is present, the law forces websites into aggressive age-gating and biometric data collection that destroys digital privacy for users of all ages. It unconstitutionally restricts the open web, disrupting everything from elementary school coding spaces like Scratch and Code.org to independent creator businesses managed safely by families. It traps innocent educational platforms behind ID walls while rewarding static, uninformative web pages. Please protect our First Amendment rights and our digital privacy. Vote against the KIDS Act and focus instead on comprehensive data privacy laws that apply universally.
