Israel's recent airstrike on a hospital in Gaza that killed numerous civilians, including children, is an unacceptable violation of international law and human rights norms. Medical facilities are supposed to be protected areas during conflicts. This attack has worsened an already dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I urge an immediate ceasefire and investigation into this tragedy to ensure accountability and prevent future attacks on civilian infrastructure that endanger innocent lives.
