SHAME ON YOU for Hiding No Votes on Trans Healthcare

The way that the Assembly treated the trans healthcare bill this session was an absolute DISGRACE. I keep seeing Delegates on social media saying they want to fight for trans rights, or that they need help from constituents to get a trans healthcare bill passed…all while refusing to reveal the names of which Delegates tanked the bill. Y’all even took it off the legislature web site to avoid revealing the names of the No votes. This is some of the most spineless, disingenuous stuff I have ever seen from Democrats in the MD state legislature, and that’s saying something. I don’t know which consultant told members of the Assembly to play “Blue Wall of Silence” while denying that that’s what you’re up to, but you are not fooling one single person. And next year you won’t have Hogan’s veto or an upcoming election to use as excuses. Tell us who the “No” votes were. As long as you cover for them, you are culpable in this disgrace.
