POTUS rescind the nomination of anti-choice judge Chad Meredith!

I am writing to voice my concern and disgust that President Biden will be recommending Chad Meredith for a lifetime federal judge appointment. Meredith’s claim to notoriety is for defending a 2017 state law requiring doctors offering abortion to perform fetal ultrasounds — including showing or describing the image and playing audio of the fetus’ heartbeat — on patients. (That law was upheld by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2019.). He is also an avowed member of the conservative Federalist Society. No person, most especially elected Democrats, can claim to support abortion rights if they are also in support of sanctioning Chad Meredith to a lifetime judgeship. This appointment is outrageous, and I want the President to find alternative methods of approving judges without compromising women's health and human rights. We are NOT A BARGAINING CHIP. Rescind this nomination now!
