An open letter to the U.S. Congress

REJECT S. 1671, the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act!

777 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

I'm messaging to urge you to oppose S. 1671, the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act. The wording of the bill is vague and despite being made to protect children, it would do the exact opposite. Not only would the bill infringe upon constitutional, legal expression made by consenting adults, but it'll be used to censor speech and criminalize people under the guise of "obscenity", pushing them and communities underground, making them more vulnerable to abuse. Please reject S. 1671, the Obscenity Definition Act and support policies that protect victims without sacrificing free expression and communities.
