Stop enabling Israeli atrocities, demand human rights over profits.

The Israeli government's escalating violence and humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories is unacceptable. Israeli tanks rolling through the West Bank and killing children as young as 13 is an unconscionable violation of human rights and international law. Israel continues to defy ceasefire terms in Gaza, obstructing vital rebuilding efforts while inflicting a deliberate policy of forced famine on 2.3 million Palestinians trapped there. Congress must act urgently to stop enabling these atrocities with U.S. weapons and funding. I urge you to vote yes on S.J.Res.20 and H.J.Res.68 to block the transfer of 10,000 155mm artillery shells fueling Israel's violence and displacement across Palestine. Furthermore, an immediate, comprehensive arms embargo on Israel is long overdue to enforce existing U.S. laws prohibiting military aid from contributing to gross human rights violations. Full compliance with ceasefire terms and unrestricted humanitarian access, especially funding for UNRWA's lifesaving aid in Gaza, must also be demanded. Endless military funding has only perpetuated this crisis - it is time for accountability and a new approach prioritizing human rights over military contractors' profits. The Palestinian people's dignity, freedom and right to exist must be defended.
