Do NOT Sell Our Public Lands! Keep America Beautiful for All!

I am so disheartened that the Senate is considering a plan that would mandate the sale of hundreds of thousands of acres of our nation’s public lands. These lands provide crucial wildlife habitat, support sporting traditions, offer endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, and are the engines that power rural communities. Please vote against and help defeat any provision or bill that would sell off our public lands. The proposal you are considering side-steps existing laws, cuts out public input from people like me, diverts money away from federal conservation efforts, largely ignores the concerns of Indigenous communities, and will result in the sell off of our public lands for development of all kinds – not just housing, as proponents argue. It’s time to put a stop to this notion that our cherished lands should be auctioned to the highest bidder. Please take a stand for our lands and our legacy! Oppose and help defeat any attempts to sell our public lands.
