An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures

Condemn the President’s Use of Disability Based Hate Speech

46 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

I am writing to express outrage that President Trump used the r word yesterday. This is hate speech. It targets people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has no place in public life. No president should demean an entire disability community. It is unacceptable and harmful. I am asking you to publicly condemn this slur and reaffirm that disability rights and dignity are non negotiable. America deserves leaders who respect all constituents. Silence is complicity. Please speak out.
