An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Hold Federal Agents Accountable for Constitutional Rights Violations

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

There is widespread public concern about ICE’s conduct, including reports of unlawful detention, excessive use of force, warrantless operations, and interference with constitutionally protected speech and protest. These actions raise serious questions about compliance with the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments. No federal agency should operate without meaningful oversight or be insulated from accountability when constitutional rights are at stake. Public trust depends on transparency, lawful conduct, and adherence to due process. I urge you to support: • Robust congressional oversight and investigation of ICE practices • Clear limits on immunity and use of force • Funding decisions that reflect compliance with constitutional and human rights standards Protecting civil liberties is a responsibility shared by all elected officials. I ask you to take these concerns seriously and act to uphold the Constitution.
